Reward System đź’°

In DecentraProtocol, each user deposit follows a 12-step cycle, with each step releasing 12.5% of the deposit’s value (for a total of 150% if all 12 steps are completed). However:

  • Steps Occur in 7-Day Intervals: Each step unlocks exactly 7 days after the previous step (or 7 days after you fulfill any required deposit).
  • Top-Up Requirements: Certain steps (e.g., Step 5, Step 9, Step 12) demand additional deposits (often 50%, 25%, or the entire base or more than that again) before you can start the 7-day clock for that next step.
  • Late Deposits: If you delay a required deposit, your step progression simply pauses until you pay. Once you deposit, you wait 7 more days from that deposit to unlock the next step’s reward.

This mechanism is perpetual because users can keep layering new deposits (as "topups" and “resets”) as older deposits finish their 12 steps.

Weekly (7-Day) Progression: Key Rules

  1. One Step = 7 Days

    • After you unlock Step n, you must wait 7 full days to unlock Step (n+1), provided you’ve met any top-up requirement.
  2. Top-Up Before the Clock Starts

    • If a top-up is needed (e.g., $50 at Step 5) and you deposit late, the 7-day countdown for Step 5 only begins on the day you deposit.
  3. No Deposit = No Progress

    • You remain stuck at your current step indefinitely if you skip a required deposit.
  4. Multiple Deposits Overlap

    • Each deposit has its own 12-step journey, but we often synchronize them to the same “user step” count. This creates layered rewards if you keep adding deposits or base resets.

Detailed Timeline & 50-Step Table

Below is a realistic scenario showing four deposits and how the user’s overall “user step” (1 to 50) aligns with specific days (Day 7, 14, etc.):

  1. D1 (Base): $100 deposit on Day 1
  2. D2 (Top-Up): $50 deposit on Day 30
  3. D3 (Top-Up): $25 deposit on Day 60
  4. D4 (New Base Reset): $100 deposit on Day 90

Each deposit pays 12.5% of its amount at every step it is active, for up to 12 steps for that deposit. However, to keep the example manageable, we’ll focus on Steps 1–50 from the user’s perspective.

Rewards Per Deposit

  • Deposit #1 (D1 = $100) → $12.50 each step it’s active
  • Deposit #2 (D2 = $50) → $6.25 each step
  • Deposit #3 (D3 = $25) → $3.125 each step
  • Deposit #4 (D4 = $100) → $12.50 each step

Important: A deposit starts paying on the step at which it’s introduced or becomes “active,” then continues for up to 12 of its own steps. But here, we align them with the user’s overall step count.

Table Columns Explanation

  • Step #: The user’s overall step count from 1 to 20.
  • Day: The real-world day on which that step’s reward unlocks (7 days after the previous step or deposit).
  • Action: If the user makes a deposit on or before this step.
  • Active Deposits Paying Out: Which deposits (D1, D2, D3, D4) are still within their 12-step window.
  • Reward from Each Deposit: 12.5% of that deposit if it’s still active.
  • Total Step Reward: Sum of all active deposits’ rewards for that step.
  • Cumulative Deposits: How much the user has deposited so far.
  • Cumulative Rewards: Total rewards claimed up to that step.
  • Net: ( Cumulative Rewards - Cumulative Deposits ).

(All reward amounts below are in “$ value,” but are actually paid in DCN tokens at the time of claim.)

  • By Step 12 (Day 88), Deposit #1 (D1) completes its 12 steps.
  • Deposit #2 (D2) completes on Step 16 (Day 118).
  • Deposit #3 (D3) completes on Step 20 (Day 146).
  • Deposit #4 (D4) will continue until Step 24 (Day 174) if the user keeps going.
  • At Step 20, the user has a net of +$62.50 overall, with D4 and D5 still partially active for future steps.

Perpetual Protocol

  1. Layered Deposits

    • As older deposits (D1) finish, newer deposits (D2, D3, D4) are mid-cycle, and you can always add another deposit to start a fresh 12-step timer.
  2. 7-Day Gaps

    • Each step is exactly 7 days after the previous step became available (or 7 days after you meet any deposit requirement). If you deposit late, these dates shift accordingly.
  3. Mandatory Resets

    • All plans require a base reset (e.g., $100 again) at Step 12 (or Step 24, etc.) to keep earning from smaller top-ups. Above, this occurs at Day 90 (Step 12 → Step 13 transition).
  4. Net Growth Over Time

    • Each deposit eventually yields +50% net over 12 steps if completed. Stacking multiple deposits can produce a continuous stream of rewards, also known as the “perpetual” effect—provided you continue top-ups/resets on time.
  5. Perpetual “Layering”

    • You don’t have to stop at Step 12 or Step 20 or 50. Each time you reach a major step (e.g., Step 20 or Step 24), you can inject a new deposit (whether it’s $25, $50, or $100—depending on your plan) to reset that deposit’s 12-step window. This overlapping of fresh deposits is what makes the cycle potentially perpetual, since you’re never left without at least one deposit paying out each week.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why do I see “Day 30 deposit” but Step 5 is Day 37?

    • Because the user waited until Day 30 to deposit $50. The 7-day clock for Step 5 then starts on Day 30, unlocking on Day 37.
  2. Do I have to follow these exact days?

    • No. This is just an example. You could deposit whenever top-up is needed or before the top-up is needed or later. The key is you wait 7 days from your deposit (if that deposit was required for the next step) to unlock the next step’s reward.
    • If you make a top-up early then it'll automatically activate when you reach the step required when it is needed and start yielding rewards.
  3. What if I skip Step 5 forever?

    • Then you stay on Step 4 and never unlock Steps 5–12 for that original deposit. It'll not progress until you make the mandatory deposit required to proceed to 5th step.
  4. When do top-ups happen for Steps 9, 12, etc.?

    • Each plan has specific top-up rules (50% at Step 5, 25% at Step 9, base reset at Step 12, etc.). This example follows one possible structure. Adapt it to your plan’s rules.
  5. Why do we say “perpetual” if each deposit ends at 12 steps?

    • Because you can overlap multiple deposits. As one deposit nears completion, a new deposit starts, so your total weekly rewards never drop to zero if you keep meeting the next deposit requirement.
  6. How do I keep earning after Step 20 or Step 24?

    • Simply follow your plan’s next deposit requirement as soon as you reach that step. For instance, if your plan calls for a $25 top-up at Step 20, deposit it before you progress to Step 21. Then 7 days later, you’ll unlock Step 21’s reward—and keep going. By layering these new deposits at Steps 20, 24, 28, 32, and so on, you maintain a continuous cycle where multiple deposits are always in their 12-step windows.

The 50-step example illustrates exactly how DecentraProtocol’s 7-day cycle, late deposit logic, and top-up requirements work together:

  • One Step Unlocks Every 7 Days
  • Top-Ups must happen first, or you stay stuck at the previous step.
  • Multiple Deposits overlap, potentially creating ongoing weekly rewards well beyond 12 steps if the user continuously “resets” the base or adds new deposits.

By carefully adhering to the schedule—and ensuring all required deposits are made on time—you can maximize rewards and even maintain a perpetual earning cycle.
